5 ideas for Fall adventures with the kids and the dog

October offers the perfect opportunity to share some fall adventures with the kids,  and with the dog too.  We highlight some activities that will appeal to kids, adults and dogs alike.

Visit a pumpkin patch

Many pumpkin patches want to include the whole family, dogs too. So why not find a dog-friendly pumpkin patch where you can sniff out the cutest pumpkins ready for Halloween fun.

Go on a ghost walk

Lots of cities offer seasonal ghost walks these days. Checkout your local guides for fun walking tours downtown.

Take a hike in the leaves

The changing colors of the leaves can be simply stunning in some parts of the country. Take a hike with the whole gang and maybe collect some colorful  leaves for some craft projects for the kids too.

Have a family photo shoot

The kids and the dog grow up way too quickly, so why not capture precious images of them as they grow? Embrace the season with a Fall photoshoot to take advantage of the gorgeous colors and lighting at this time of year.

Go on a camping trip

Taking a final camping trip of the year is such fun. Drink hot chocolate and roast marshmallows around the campfire. Snuggle under blankets and tell haunting stories. If you can’t get to a camp ground, a tent in the back yard can be just as fun.
