Travall Guard: 5 reasons you’ll find this dog guard easy to install

You’ve realised that you need a dog guard for your car.  You’re looking for an easy to install dog guard. You know that you want to get a rattle-free, precision fit.  You know you can’t achieve that with a universal guard. You know that you’re not great putting flat pack furniture together, so you aren’t sure whether you are able to fit a Travall Guard yourself.

We’ve heard the above scenario many times and we’re about to allay your concerns. You may know that in purchasing a Travall Guard you are getting the quality product that you have been seeking, yet you may not be confident that it will be easy to install.  This blog post is about to change your mindset.  We give 5 reasons why installing a Travall Guard is actually a piece of cake, a walk in the park, a breeze – or, quite simply, “easy”.

  1. Every Travall Guard is specifically designed to fit your make and model of vehicle.  Its shape perfectly fits with your car so you get a snug, perfect installation.
  2. Each guard is supplied with a step by step instruction leaflet specific to that model of guard.
  3. The guard is provided complete with a fitting kit, including all the necessary screws and attachments needed to fit that specific model of guard.
  4. The Travall Guard uses the existing attachment points that are already in place in your vehicle, so no modifications are necessary.
  5. The guard has a special coating, which gives a very smooth finish with no rough edges, so you can hold the guard at any point with ease and no discomfort.

In order to dispel people’s misconceptions, the Travall team decided to set up an installation challenge for all the employees that had never installed a Travall Guard before.  People teamed up in pairs and armed with a brand new boxed guard headed out to the car park. Each pair was timed from opening the box to a completed installation of both a guard and divider.  Different pairs had different approaches. Some read through the whole instruction sheet from top to bottom before starting. Some read the sheet as they went through each step. Others had one person reading the instructions out loud, while the other person did the installation.  No matter which approach was taken, all achieved a successful, secure installation on the first go. If we can do it, then so can you.  The longest installation time was 22 minutes, the shortest was 12 minutes. Pretty good timing for first timers installing not only the Travall Guard but the Travall Divider too.

The attached YouTube video also gives you a good guide to how to go about it.
