Here at Travall, we are raising awareness for Child Passenger Safety Week, a week where the main focus is generally on car seats, booster seats, and seat belts, and their proper installation and use. Being buckled up at every age and for every trip<\/strong> is one way you can keep your child safe while they\u2019re a passenger in your car. It can mean buying the right car or booster seat for your child\u2019s age, height and weight, or simply making sure they always wear their seatbelt when they are old enough.<\/span><\/p>\n

Ensuring the safety of your kids while they\u2019re in the car is extremely important. Did you know that The National Highway Traffic Safety Association (NHTSA) estimates that nearly 11 million passenger vehicle accidents took place in 2015?<\/a>\u00a0Car accidents are definitely something to worry about! \u00a0Car insurance industry estimates<\/a> show that you will file a claim at least once every 17.9 years. If you got your license at 16 that means you’ll be in an accident before you turn 34. If you haven’t been in an accident yet, there is a high likelihood that you will be.<\/span><\/p>\n

Travall wants to put the focus not just car and booster seats, but the sheer amount of loose stuff we keep in our cars. One thing that isn\u2019t talked about much is how dangerous that stuff can be. Whether it\u2019s a diaper bag, partially full water bottles, children\u2019s toys, school gear, groceries, a laptop… All of these things can become projectiles in the event of an accident.<\/span><\/p>\n
