From paragliding Black\u2019s Beach\nto wandering the cliffside trails of Torrey Pines State Natural Reserve, there\u2019re\nplenty of things to keep you busy and enjoying the sunshine. Spend the day paddle boarding Lady Bird Lake, hike the 10-mile Ann and Roy Butler Hike and Bike Trail around the city, and explore the Barton Creek Greenbelt. Head to Barton Springs and swim in crystal clear water, then take a stroll through Zilker Park with the city skyline right in front of you. At night, hit 6<sup>th<\/sup> Street for the most amazing street food and live music. Average temperatures are around the 40\u2019s and 50\u2019s for springtime.\nHowever, if you\u2019re ready to bundle up and be amazed by this unofficial 8<sup>th<\/sup>\nwonder of the world, you won\u2019t be disappointed! <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>For the\nhikers; Gorge features several trails that range in difficulty; beginners can\ntry the one-hour round-trip Great Gorge Scenic Overlook hike, while families\nwith kids 8 and older might opt for the two-and-a-half-hour round-trip hike to\nDevil\u2019s Hole Rapids and Giant Rock. Maybe you\u2019ll want to cast your fishing pole into the many rapids or head out to Old Fort Niagara for a re-enactment of the\nAmerican Revolution. You\u2019ll find sky blue lakes backdropped by the highest mountain range in\nArizona, the San Francisco Peaks. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Take a day\ntrip to visit the south rim of the Grand Canyon, hike Humphreys Trail, or visit\nthe well-preserved Indian ruins in Walnut Canyon. Downtown you will find great food, and different activities including a\nmuseum where you can learn all about Healdsburg. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>When you\u2019re\nready to escape this quaint town, and its wineries, head to Healdsburg Ridge Open\nSpace Preserve. With charming views of the Russian River and miles of hiking\ntrails, this is a delightful way to spend a few hours away from the bustle of\ndowntown Healdsburg. Bend and central Oregon are blessed with sunshine.\nEven in the winter, you\u2019ll find that snow and sunshine come hand in hand, as\nwell as blistering heat and sunshine in the summer. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Trying to decide if you want a skiing spring break or some sunshine you can enjoy on long walks? No need to decide here, Bend has both! Ski at Mount Bachelor, (ps &#8211; kids ski free!), or try&nbsp;biking,&nbsp;cycling,&nbsp;hiking,&nbsp;fly-fishing, rock climbing,&nbsp;or golfing. Sled-dog adventure on your bucket list? They\u2019ve even got that here! When you want to spend some time inside, treat your taste buds to the vibrant culinary scene of Bend. Did we mention Bend is known to make great craft beer? \ud83d\ude09<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>Fort Collins, Colorado<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"724\" height=\"483\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.travall.com\/en-us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/ThinkstockPhotos-689493512.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2166\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.travall.com\/en-us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/ThinkstockPhotos-689493512.jpg 724w, https:\/\/blog.travall.com\/en-us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/ThinkstockPhotos-689493512-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 724px) 100vw, 724px\" \/><figcaption> Horsetooth Reservoir at Sunset<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>With\ntemperatures in the mid 60\u2019s by springtime, there are plenty of outdoor\nactivities to enjoy in Fort Collins, Colorado. Most famous, you\u2019ll want to make\nyour way to Horsetooth Reservoir, truly\none of Colorado\u2019s most scenic outdoor paradises. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The\n6.5-mile-long reservoir is a favorite recreation spot for activities such as\nboating, fishing, swimming, stand up paddle boarding, water skiing, sailing and\npicnicking. If the weather is too cold\nfor most of that when you arrive, there are many miles of trails surrounding\nthe reservoir for mountain&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitftcollins.com\/things-to-do\/outdoors\/biking\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">biking<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitftcollins.com\/things-to-do\/outdoors\/horseback-riding\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">horseback riding<\/a>, and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitftcollins.com\/things-to-do\/outdoors\/hiking-trails\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">hiking<\/a>. Additionally, on the east side of the reservoir is one\nof the best spots in Colorado for bouldering in&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.mountainproject.com\/area\/105745202\/rotary-park\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Rotary Park<\/a>. Camping is available at the Reservoir, including;\nRV spots,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitftcollins.com\/hotels\/camping\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">campsites<\/a>&nbsp;and&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitftcollins.com\/hotels\/cabins\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">cabins<\/a>,\nall managed by&nbsp;<a href=\"http:\/\/www.co.larimer.co.us\/parks\/Horsetooth.htm\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Larimer County Natural Areas<\/a>.\nIf camping isn\u2019t your style, relax in one of the&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.visitftcollins.com\/hotels\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">condos or bed &amp; breakfasts<\/a>&nbsp;in the\narea, or maybe rent a boat from the marina.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4><strong>Yosemite, California<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"724\" height=\"483\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.travall.com\/en-us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/ThinkstockPhotos-972004282.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-2167\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.travall.com\/en-us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/ThinkstockPhotos-972004282.jpg 724w, https:\/\/blog.travall.com\/en-us\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/02\/ThinkstockPhotos-972004282-300x200.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 724px) 100vw, 724px\" \/><figcaption>Bridalveil Fall in early springtime, Yosemite National Park, California<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<p>Although\nthe average temperature for springtime in Yosemite is mid 50\u2019s, there is still\na chance you might show up and find a good layer of fluffy white snow\nblanketing the park. Regardless, springtime is a great time to visit Yosemite\nbecause the crowds vanish, and you\u2019ll usually save some money on ticket prices.\nEven if you show up and there is snow, you will get to experience a truly\nmagical, pristine, winter wonderland. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>If you do\nget lucky and spring starts early, you might catch a glimpse of the park coming\nback to life. If you\u2019re planning your spring trip in April, you will be in\nprime position to see the most amazing waterfalls. Yosemite Valley and the Wawona remain open all year, but the Tioga and Glacier Point Roads remain closed until the\npark services can get all the snow off the road. Hikes from&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/yose\/planyourvisit\/valleyhikes.htm\">Yosemite Valley<\/a>,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/yose\/planyourvisit\/wawonahikes.htm\">Wawona<\/a>,\nand&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/yose\/planyourvisit\/hetchhetchy.htm\">Hetch Hetchy<\/a>&nbsp;are\noften snow-free by April. However, as in winter,&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.nps.gov\/yose\/planyourvisit\/wildwinter.htm\">backpacking\noptions are very limited<\/a>.&nbsp;But have no fear!
