We\u2019ve reached the season that for many is quite simply \u201cthe most wonderful time of the year.\u201d In this case, I\u2019m referring to summer.\u00a0 It\u2019s the part of the year when the weather in the UK is (mostly) drier and warmer, school holidays are on the horizon and families are getting excited at the prospect of taking some time together on a holiday.\u00a0 If you\u2019re currently doing some summer holiday planning yourself, we thought it might be helpful to give you a list of essentials to take if you\u2019ll be travelling with dogs too.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

If you\u2019re travelling with dogs, there is a strong chance that at some point you are going to be in a car.\u00a0 Ensuring your car is suitably equipped is essential to ensure that you avoid fines for having an unrestrained dog in your car.\u00a0 The simple way to do this and be able to transport your luggage safely too is to add a Travall Guard and Divider<\/a>.\u00a0 Your pup has a secure position on the journey and is kept away from heavy luggage that might ordinarily slide into your dog\u2019s space in transit.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Food and water bowls<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Wet wipes and paper towels to clean up messes<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Poo bags<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Dog food and additional treats<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pet toys<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

First aid kit<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Leash and harness <\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Copy of vet documentation (immunizations etc) for emergencies plus microchip details.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Pet passport if travelling to the continent.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Basic grooming supplies<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n

Bedding (such as a blanket so that your dog has familiar smells from home)<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n
