There are few things that get a dog\u2019s tail wagging as fast as the opportunity to have a tasty treat. Doesn&#8217;t every good dog deserve one?\u00a0Dog biscuits are big business in this country with a wide range of options available for your dog\u2019s delight. If you like to bake and fancy having a go at making some tasty treats for your pup, we\u2019ve got a simple dog biscuit recipe that\u2018ll be gentle on your pooch\u2019s tummy too.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<h2>Chicken and rice dog biscuit recipe<\/h2>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<ul>\r\n<li>50 g (1\/3 cup) cooked white rice<\/li>\r\n<li>50g (1\/3 cup) cooked chicken<\/li>\r\n<li>250g (1 cup) buckwheat flour<\/li>\r\n<li>Pinch of salt<\/li>\r\n<li>1 egg<\/li>\r\n<li>150ml (2\/3 cup) chicken stock<\/li>\r\n<\/ul>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Preheat oven to 180<sup>o<\/sup>C fan (350<sup>o<\/sup>F) (190<sup>o<\/sup>C (370<sup>o<\/sup>F) for a conventional oven) or gas mark 4.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Blend cooked chicken, cooked rice, flour and salt in a food processor until mixture is smooth. \u00a0Gradually add the egg and chicken stock and blend until it forms a smooth ball.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Place dough on a well-floured surface and knead until you have a drier dough. \u00a0Roll out dough with a rolling pin to a thickness of about 1.5cm. Using a dog-inspired biscuit cutter (or cutters that spell out your favourite make of <a href=\"https:\/\/www.travall.co.uk\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"dog guard (opens in a new tab)\">dog guard<\/a>), cut out biscuits until all the dough has been used.<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<div class=\"wp-block-image\">\r\n<figure class=\"aligncenter\"><img loading=\"lazy\" width=\"320\" height=\"240\" class=\"wp-image-7699\" src=\"https:\/\/blog.travall.com\/en-gb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/unnamed.jpg\" alt=\"\" srcset=\"https:\/\/blog.travall.com\/en-gb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/unnamed.jpg 320w, https:\/\/blog.travall.com\/en-gb\/wp-content\/uploads\/2019\/05\/unnamed-300x225.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 320px) 100vw, 320px\" \/><\/figure>\r\n<\/div>\r\n\r\n\r\n\r\n<p>Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
