If you have a dog, then you\u2019ll know that the mere suggestion of food being prepared will have a willing helper with a waggy tail immediately at your side. So why not bake some treats especially for your pup? National Baking Week takes place 14th &#8211; 20th October and is the perfect time to make this easy dog biscuit recipe.<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><b>Chicken and rice dog biscuit recipe<\/b><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">50 g (1\/3 cup) cooked white rice<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">50g (1\/3 cup) cooked chicken<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">250g (1 cup) buckwheat flour<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Pinch of salt<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">1 egg<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400;\" aria-level=\"1\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">150ml (2\/3 cup) chicken stock<\/span><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Preheat oven to 180<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">o<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C fan (350<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">o<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">F) (190<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">o<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">C (370<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">o<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">F) for a conventional oven) or gas mark 4.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Blend cooked chicken, cooked rice, flour and salt in a food processor until mixture is smooth.\u00a0 Gradually add the egg and chicken stock and blend until it forms a smooth ball.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Place dough on a well-floured surface and knead until you have a drier dough.\u00a0 Roll out dough with a rolling pin to a thickness of about 1.5cm. Using a dog-inspired biscuit cutter (or cutters that spell out your favourite brand of <\/span><a href=\"https:\/\/www.travall.co.uk\/\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">dog guard<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">), cut out biscuits until all the dough has been used.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">Place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
