If you listen carefully you may hear the sound of a collective sigh of relief flooding the land as homeschooling comes to an end for many children and their parents and caregivers. With children now returning to school on March the 8th in England and in many parts of the country shortly after, there is contentment that they will be back in an environment where they learn best.\u00a0 Although this may still be tinged for some with the anxiety over health concerns should virus rates rise once again. After the latest lockdown, getting back into the groove of going back to school every day may come as a bit of a shock for some. So to make the return to school smoother we\u2019ve got some suggestions to make the morning (and afternoon) school run that little bit easier for everyone concerned.<\/span><\/p>\n

Prepare the evening before<\/span><\/h2>\n

Busy evenings lead to calm mornings. By getting as much organised the night before, you give yourselves less to do the next morning. Put fuel in the car; prepare packed lunches; pack the school bags with the appropriate books and equipment for the next day including clean face masks; launder reusable face masks; and get uniforms and PE kits laid out and ready for the return to school. It may sound like a lot to do, but your morning self will thank your evening self.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
