The all-new Travall TailGate: adventure starts when you’re ready

We all know how tail-waggingly excited dogs can get. The prospect of a ride in the car before going on a hike or zooming around the park is one of those times.  No matter how much training you do with your dog, when you open the boot there’s always the worry that your canine friend is going to bolt out of there. That’s a potential hazard for the health and welfare of the dog and for other drivers too.  For this reason, Travall has added a new and super helpful product to the range – the Travall TailGate. It’s design deters dogs from leaping as soon as the boot opens. With a boot tailgate guard, you have better control. You get to decide when your pup can exit the boot and the outdoor adventures begin.

How does the tailgate guard work?

The Travall TailGate is designed to work with the Travall Guard and Travall Divider. It’s a great alternative to a dog crate or dog cage, which tend to take up all the space in your boot. The boot tailgate guard attaches to the divider using some basic tools. It can be installed or removed in around 10 minutes.  It’s made using the same nylon powder-coated steel as the Travall Guard and Divider, so you know all three products will coordinate perfectly in your vehicle. They will also continue to look good after many years of use. You get a secure position for your pup. Unlike a bulky dog cage, you’ve also got room in your boot for other gear. When you don’t need to use the tailgate guard, its double pivot hinge system allows it to simply fold neatly and securely against your Travall Divider, only moving back into the gated position when you decide to put it there.

The Travall TailGate is not vehicle specific, which is a departure from the other products in the Travall range.  However, you do need the vehicle-specific Travall Guard and Divider installed in your vehicle. You then choose the TailGate that best suits your lifestyle requirements. For dividers positioned with the 50:50 split, there are three options. You can choose to have a gate across the right hand side, or the left hand side, or (if you have two dogs) on both sides. For dividers positioned with the 60:40 split, there is the option to add a tailgate guard to the smaller portion of the boot.

How else can a tailgate guard be used?

If you’re not a dog owner, you’ll still find the tailgate guard very useful. The Travall TailGate provides superb boot organisation.  You can further compartmentalise the boot of your car. No more grocery bags tipping over on the drive home – they’re held securely in the upright position by the sturdy Travall TailGate.

Keep your dog securely positioned or your groceries in an upright position. Even better, with two Travall TailGates you can do both!
