5 ideas for half-term adventures with the kids and the dog

Believe it or not, the half-term holidays are just around the corner. The weather can often be good for outdoor activities in October, so it’s the perfect opportunity to share some half-term adventures with the kids and the dog too.  We detail some ideal destinations in the UK that cater to children, adults and dogs alike.

Chatsworth House

This stunningly beautiful stately home is set in a Peak District landscape of equal beauty. The Chatsworth Estate welcomes dogs on a lead in its acres and acres of parkland and the gardens of the house itself. It’s a great area for the kids and dogs to explore.

The Norfolk Broads

Why not hire a boat in Waveney? You, the kids, and the dog can hop on board and enjoy the best of the Norfolk Broads waterways from the water.

Chester

If you fancy more of a city break, the historic city of Chester is a great option.  City walls, riverside walks and plenty of dog-friendly cafes and restaurants, there’ll be something for every family member on this visit.
